The backstory is that we previously founded and sold a company called PlushCare. We started it because one of us, Ryan, couldn’t get help for his debilitating back pain and being able to simply access a physician-friend, James, helped him get to a diagnosis and treatment that changed his life. By building PlushCare we made real progress on one part of primary care: access. Getting a doctor on the phone, any time, from anywhere, made a real difference for a lot of people. 

But access was never the whole problem. To create the doctor you wish you'd always had isn't just about making them reachable: they have to truly know you and have the time and cognitive focus to personalize your care. They catch a concerning trend in your labs before it becomes a crisis. They remember what matters to you. They actually listen to you, and actually care about you and your family. They help you think years ahead, navigate the complex health system, and are in your corner when times get tough.

That's what we are building at Prosper Medical. Today, we're announcing $16 million in financing, led by FUSE, to help us do it at scale, and all of it made possible by AI.

Prosper Medical is concierge-level primary care, supercharged by AI to transform the way people get health care. Every Prosper Medical physician trained at a top-50 U.S. medical school and practices the kind of unhurried, relationship-based medicine that's become rare. Your journey to better health starts at your first visit, whether it’s for urgent care or establishing a health baseline. First, we assemble all your available medical records so that your doctor and the AI can get the full picture of you. From there, the physician and AI can analyze your health for insights, gaps, and opportunities to help you live a longer, healthier, and happier life. We can order any necessary labs, write prescriptions, and send specialist referrals, all which our care team coordinates and manages on your behalf. All of this data feeds back into your health dataset, allowing you and your team to personalize and optimize your health.

Unlike most concierge or membership-based care, Prosper Medical isn't reserved for the ultra-wealthy. We're in-network with major insurance plans, available in all 50 states, and one membership covers you and your children. In just a few months, we've grown to serve thousands of members who want more than a rushed appointment and a templated portal message; our members want a team invested in their long-term health.

This funding lets us expand our physician network, strengthen the AI platform supercharging the care model, and expand our services to provide more value to our members.
